I’m about to go time travelling through different time zones. I can only express my thoughts on a blog as I’m experiencing the racing thoughts, but if you want to know what true mania is really like just sit back and watch whilst I try stay alive. This is going to be the worst episode of mania I’ve ever had, I’m scared. But it’s fine. Everything’s going to be fine. (I hope). Fingers crossed. Hopefully my weight doesn’t drop to more than it is now.
They changed the label in 1994. Pre-1994, bipolar disorder only use to affect 2000 people in the UK a year. Until they realised there were other types. This type? This needs to be listed as a separate condition. It’s usually connected to ADHD, and ADHD manifests differently in women – less violence on the whole, more creativity and racing thoughts. That’s why they’re confused for each other but ADHD is a significant factor for developing bipolar type 1 disorder. Don’t ask me how I know this stuff, even I don’t know.
England. You really messed up in 2018. Badly. Why? Did you do that to me? Me and the police were trying for months. They were getting fed up with you. The police were like “Do you know what bipolar is? We are so confused.” I’m just sitting here laughing. Because they don’t know do they. They don’t know 1800’s version of bipolar at all. lol. I’m laughing so much. They changed the label in the DSM 3 and fucked everyone up in 1994 so those with the original 1800’s bipolar got missed from the system. Well wasn’t that stupid?
I’m petrified I can’t go through that again. Omg. It was awful. Not on top of my CPTSD. I won’t survive both at the same time. The MH system needs to change. It’s badly run.
