My GP surgery told me today they know I have CPTSD and potentially bipolar, but the mental health team refuse to acknowledge it and provide the right therapy.

The one thing that’s hard about all this is not the betrayal by the very people who should be supporting us, but the brick wall you’re in within your brain. The brain feels like it’s damaged.

I’ve had stutters in speech, pacing, outbursts of emotion, and multiple symptoms. I’m not even a whistleblower. I had no intentions but to get myself the right support and I ultimately failed in that.

And they just refuse to acknowledge my PTSD. I find this so so dangerous. It’s incredibly dangerous and it can kill people.

I think there has to be a law or something that comes in to force to say they’re no longer allowed to discriminate against someone with BPD as on the surface it looks eerily similar to CPTSD.

I wouldn’t even wish CPTSD on my enemy.

It really is that bad.

Where do you go if the NHS are so intent on misunderstanding you?

They relish in you trapped. They find satisfaction in it. They intentionally wanted me to suffer more than I already was.

They then sent me out a letter saying “if you no longer require our service, call us”.

The emotional abuse within the mental health system towards people with real valid trauma that need the correct diagnoses and support really need to change.

They shouldn’t be allowed to cause intentional distress.
