The truth about bipolar disorder type 1 associated with creativity.

Bipolar disorder type 1 associated with creativity is a brain illness. It’s not like other types of bipolar disorder and has a strong correlation with trauma and can be triggered externally. It’s a health issue that you’re more likely to have if you were born with Autism or ADHD and experienced trauma. It has a strong link to childhood trauma and can be confused with BPD and is different to the bipolar disorder label that was created in 1994 when it isn’t like the other types of bipolar. They aren’t sure if it’s a type of Autism or a trauma related disorder. Research is still investigating it. As this type of bipolar is usually diagnosed alongside CPTSD.

It is one of the most horrendous illnesses. It’s so painful and carries so so many physical symptoms and flashbacks with it.

When it hits you, the brain oh you have no clue. The brain feels so swollen. That you can’t even shower. You can’t even walk to the shop without being in pain. You can’t even sit silently and read a book. You can’t do the things you used to enjoy except express yourself creativity.

You feel like you’re dying in that moment. It’s a considerable amount of pain. I’ve never had the chance to get help for my bipolar because psychiatry have painted it as BPD on my records ever since I was like 7 years old.

I only remember two manic episodes in my life. 2018 alongside the PTSD attacks. And 2025-2026 – alongside my CPTSD.

Last night, a mental health paramedic came out to me, I just had a ptsd attack. Not only did she accuse me basically of having a disordered personality, (BPD), she basically said “well, erm BPD is your diagnosis so that’s what we are going of” – so I’ve had to go out my way to get a solicitor, because I have finally realised, that they have been tearing me apart, knowing they misdiagnosed me, trying effortlessly to get me arrested, and had the audacity to try and cover that up.

I’m sorry, but how do you trust people who do that? That is institutional emotional abuse and it triggers both bipolar and CPTSD episodes and that’s exactly what Steve Cargill and the NHS mental health team did recently with their letter they sent out.

I do not stand for games like that. I was a very forgiving person, but now? INFJ doorslam.

How many times does a woman have to explain herself to medical professionals?

How many times?

BPD is a label they use to silence women. And I’m just proof of that.

So Steve, congratulations. What do you want? A medal? Liked tearing me down? Did it make you happy?
