What does betrayal mean to me?
Betrayal is spending the young years of your life fighting for your health, wanting nothing more than to survive whilst having a label used against you. Your health becomes at risk at this point because as soon as you have a stigmatising label on your records, it’s always there. A label you never had.
The anchoring bias is used, so that’s all people ever see. Even when presented with information that contradicts that label, the betrayal seeps into the unconscious, like a heavy cloud of smoke.
People make lies about you, judge you, taunt you.
Families walk away from you.
Normal people don’t like creative people. They bring us neurodivergents down.
