This is a song for those who have ever been broken down into fragments by the system who were supposed to be there to protect us. The one’s who used your childhood trauma against you to say there was something wrong with your personality, the system that never provided you with a home when you needed one, the system that laughed at your accomplishments and called it “narcissistic”. This is present day centre-left/left-wing politics. They don’t want you to survive: they want you to fall.

When you react, you’re the bad one. ☝️

The best revenge there is is absence and silence. Don’t give them the satisfaction of watching you suffer. You’ve already been there – wounded in interpersonal battles, a fort of broken promises, a self-destructive carelessness of poorly tuned judgement scraping at the foundations of what built your broken soul.

Independent thought is bad for left-wing politics. They don’t want you to think for yourself. The older I get, the more I understand why Winston Churchill changed his views to right wing. 🪽 I want to find God again.

He’s the only one that’s been protecting me in life.

Not the system. I used to be SNP, I’m not so sure now…I have a distinction in social policy, but their policies ironically give me lasting ptsd attacks.

They don’t care about mental health, nor did they care. That was obvious.

I hope they realise one day how important mental health is. But I’m not like other people.

I’m a self-reflective writer, a creator, an independent thinker.

I’m an INFJ, and I can survive alone.

When I’m not suffering from my dissociative PTSD attacks, of course.

I was born with Autism and inattentive ADHD. I was told by the system at the age of 14 “Natalie daydreams, has difficulty processing information, she will never achieve anything in life”. They then brought me down as an adult in court at the age of 21 and said “she’s gone through too much trauma to do well in her life in adulthood”.

Yeah. Whose fault was that? I was not responsible for the choices you made when I was a child living on the edge.

That’s the system.
