Imagine trauma so igniting,
Chemicals race,
Thoughts are lightning
Vivid scenes of powerless woes
A historical trip,
Memory lane she goes
Confusion and fear entwine as one
Apprehension and deceit
I’m left alone
A swirl of doubt so refine
Questioning one’s existence
A headache sublime
A flashback of fear so intense
To that helpless child
Stuck in self-defence

A paralysing fear storms my mind
A darkness that leaves an empty hole

A journey to the shadow soul
A meeting with a darker force
